The group's principal activity is to develop and market directed energy weapon technology products for the U.S. Government. It has entered into several contracts with the U.S. Government and cooperative research and development agreements for joint research on laser induced plasma channel (lipc) based directed energy weapons. The lipc technology controls and directs electrical energy between two points. This technology is useful for multiple national security and defense applications as well as for applications in other commercial sectors. On 20-Sep-2004, the group acquired the assets of north star research corporation.
